Voted one of the top ten family cars by KBB, the new addition to the Honda line-up has been a great addition. Those who have had the pleasure of seeing one up close, getting behind the wheel, and taking it for a spin…have nothing but great things to say about it. Take a look at the early reviews!!

Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com, the trusted online automotive resource, has named the Crosstour as one of its “2010 Top Ten Family Cars.” Kelley Blue Book’s kbb.com praised the Crosstour, saying it’s “everything we like about the Accord Sedan and more” because it “shares the same V-6 engine, passenger room and overall styling with its sedan counterpart, but boasts almost twice the cargo capacity—a big win for families—thanks to its hatchback shape.” The Crosstour’s family-friendly features include comfortable seating for five, over 51 cubic feet of cargo space, the easy fold-down 60/40 rear seatback, dual-zone climate control and available 4-wheel drive[2].

James R. Healey from USA Today concludes that the Accord Crosstour “feels just right,” stating, “It had one of the best blends of ride comfort and bump-taming found in any test car for years. It was quite at home on a tight S corner that’s part of the Test Drive routine, taken as fast as traffic and bravery will allow. That was surprising. Extra weight usually degrades handling… Steering was a commendable combo of straight-ahead finesse and quick-turning response.” Complimenting the Crosstour on its excellent use of cargo space, Healey writes, “Honda’s brought its best cargo-consciousness to the stowage area… A big removable and washable center bin is flanked by two smaller ones.” Healey wraps up the article, stating, “By whatever alchemy, Honda’s made the Crosstour such a delight that…rival sedans…seem
pale[1].”

Reviewers at Detroit News took a spin in the Accord Crosstour and liked what they drove—both inside and out. Regarding the styling they wrote, “…the new Accord Crosstour looks sharp, sophisticated and tough.” The interior reminded them of the Accord Sedan, calling the materials “…high quality and well made.” Taking a particular interest in the cargo area, especially the hidden utility box, they wrote, “…Crosstour comes with a big space in the back, it’s good to see Honda made the most of the opportunity.” The Crosstour’s on-road performance impressed them as well, stating, “The ride was extremely quiet…The 271-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 keeps the Crosstour quick wherever you drive…The all-wheel drive system is also very smooth and helps keep the Crosstour firmly planted.”
